Queen of the Pavement

Hi, I’m Helena. I’m tall, pale, and half-Norwegian. I was born in Indianapolis, raised on the coast of North Carolina, and currently live in Raleigh, NC.

I graduated with a Public Relations degree from NC State University, and am soon moving to San Francisco to pursue a MFA in photography at the Academy of Art.

I travel as much as time and money permit.

I used to tour nationally with a band.

I find myself budgeting the majority of my money toward random plane flights and bloody marys.

I have a hard time producing body heat.

Salt is my favorite food. I hate sweet tea and country music.

I have a lot of stories. I also have a lot of photos to go with them. I feel like now is a good time to start sharing them.
